Advertisement for the Post of Research Associate, Research Assistant and Field Investigator

Applications are invited from eligible candidates (as per ICSSR guidelines mentioned below) for the position of Research Associate, Research Assistant and Field Investigators in an ICSSR Major Research Project 2023-24.

Topic of Project- Role of Biases and Nudges for Consumption of Millets in India

Research Associate

Qualification: Post graduate in social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET/MPhil/PhD and 2 years research experience

No. of post (Tentative ): 1

Remuneration: Rs. 47,000/- pm

Qualification: Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55%

No. of post (Tentative ): 3

Remuneration:Rs. 20, 000/- pm

Qualification:Post graduate in social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET/MPhil/PhD

No. of post (Tentative ): 1

Remuneration:Rs. 37,000/- pm

The positions are initially for a period of one month and are extendable depending on the performance of the candidate and in conformity with the ICSSR guidelines.

Prof. Shuchi Kapuria - Project Director, ICSSR Major Research Project 2023-24

Dr. Shuchi Kapuria holds a PhD in Economics from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has research and teaching experience of about 15 years. She was also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Guelph under the Commonwealth Exchange Scholarship Programme of the Government of Canada (2011). Her current areas of interest are — Migration, employment, labour markets, and gender studies.
