TORC

The Institute is recognised as a Training Orientation and Research Centre (TORC) by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India for its NSS Programme Officers for the UT of Chandigarh and States of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. Training programmes for N.S.S. Programme Officers have been conceived with a view to providing practical skills to these Programme Officers for motivating the youth to undertake voluntary work. These courses try to relate vision with problems and practical intervention.
